INSIGHT: Inclusive teachiNg methodS in hIGHer educaTion
The fundamental objective of INSIGHT is to identify, at university level, inclusive teaching strategies in order to improve the
teaching-learning processes and participation, not only of students with SpLD (constantly increasing), but of all students (so
as to eliminate an educational disparity). These strategies, consistent with the principles of Universal Design, can be disseminated and implemented in other training, university and school contexts, at a European and non-European level.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

Promote the development of inclusive culture
Thus promoting the reduction of prejudice on the “Dyslexia problem” in educational contexts and the advancement of the realization of the rights and values enshrined in the 2006 ONU Convention, starting from the removal of cultural barriers.

Define and implement an inclusive and “sustainable” teaching approach at the
University level
Supporting the professional development of university professors through the activation of research – training courses on the teaching approach identified; another objective is to demonstrate that the use of strategies and tools suitable for students with SpLD promotes the rethinking of teaching with an improving and inclusive perspective, as it is functional to supporting the learning processes and participation of all students.

Spreading the
outcomes of the project through a MOOC course
Spreading the and support the continuous training of teachers through a MOOC course designed to promote the available at European and non-European level.
