ABOUT INSIGHT PROJECT
INSIGHT has an extremely innovative goal; in fact, INSIGHT wants to identify a teaching methodology that can be effectively used by both students with SpLD and students without any learning disability. Demonstrating that the identified methodology allows a more effective acquisition of content and skills both by SpLD and by students without learning disabilities would mean eliminating an educational barrier.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The fundamental objective of INSIGHT is to identify, at university level, inclusive teaching strategies in order to improve the teaching-learning processes and participation, not only of students with SpLD (constantly increasing), but of all students (so as to eliminate an educational disparity). These strategies, consistent with the principles of Universal Design, can be disseminated and implemented in other training, university and school contexts, at a European and non-European level.
Main activities of INSIGHT:

Analysis of inclusive practices and student opinions at the universities in the partnership

Definition of coherent teaching strategies on UD principles

Training courses for university teachers on inclusive didactics

Planning and experimentation of the strategies identified, in the universities involved

Evaluation and validation of the tested inclusive didactic device
Expected results of INSIGHT:

Contributing to the improvement of learning, participation and well-being of all university students, starting with those with SpLD, and to the professional development of university teachers.

Define, test and validate an inclusive didactic device for Higher Education

Disseminate the outcomes through a MOOC course (freely accessible online and with no closing date)
